Mats for working on the floor

Why pay a big price for an “official Thai mat”?  I use a dense foam mat, 3 inches thick, full or queen size, which I cover with a regular mattress cover.  With more than 3 inches thick or with “memory foam” you sink in too much to work.  A foam mat is light and portable.  Roll it up and put a quick release strap around it.  Mine has lasted seven years.  I got it at Foam and Fabrics Outlet in Asheville.  http://www.fabrics4you.com/home.html
